February 2026:
We want to thank everyone for all the prayers for our family. It was one year ago today, after being hospitalized for one week, that we learned Anee was in the battle for her life with advanced ovarian cancer. Today, we are preparing for another round of treatment, starting this month, God willing. We pray that insurance doesn't hold up treatment and that it proves to be extremely effective. God bless and those going through similar battles. Continued prayers for healing, her CA level to go down, mild/no side effects, and wisdom and strength through finding more answers on what to do next in this journey.
In January of 2025, Anne was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer. Since then, she began chemotherapy, had the tumor surgically removed in May, and completed her course of chemotherapy over the summer. She has now started a targeted therapy called Avastin (bevacizumab) and will receive about seven more treatments of this drug as doctors monitor how she responds.
We are so grateful for the love and support we’ve already received. Please keep Anne in your prayers — especially for her CA-125/cancer markers to go down, for continued strength and healing, and for peace and comfort for our family as the road ahead unfolds. Thank you for your encouragement, prayers, and care.
